Rooted in God’s Word
Our ministry here at Covenant Reformed is rooted in a commitment to the Bible as God’s true and life-changing Word. We strive to be a Christ-centered, Bible-based church, where the Word of God is faithfully preached, sincerely believed, and practically applied to our daily lives. The Scriptures teach us about who God is and that God the Father gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in order to pay the penalty for the sins of his people. This message forms the core of all of our beliefs and practices.
Living out Christ’s Love
The people of Covenant are a thankful people, and so we desire to share with you the joy that comes from a personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. We also want to serve in practical ways. On a daily basis we live out Christ’s love for us by loving and serving one another and others in our community.
Nourished By God’s Grace
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We can do nothing to add to our salvation. The great comfort of the Gospel is that Jesus paid the penalty for sin. He saves us by His grace. But we are prone to forget this truth. And so Christ has graciously given to us his grace in the preaching of the word, prayer and the sensible signs and seals of the sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
